The Fairfax Fall Festival was one of the shows we were the most excited about. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans. It rained all day. Thankfully, it wasn't cold and there were periods of mostly just drizzle - and a surprising number of people came out to shop. We did better that I expected, considering the weather, and I met some really nice people ( I was working this show solo). We've been pretty lucky to not have been impacted by rain at any of our shows to date. We have three more outdoor shows, then we are indoors for several holiday events. Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be working on our indoor display. We hang a lot of things on our tent and we can't do that inside so I'm working on a few creative solutions. This week's Booth Buddy, Roseside Market, wasn't located near us, but we go to know each other a little bit after stopping by one another's booths during the festival. The owner, Kathleen, is a teacher and a mom who somehow finds time to make and sell beautiful scarves and jewelry. I loved her booth aesthetic and the fabrics she picked for her scarves. Kathleen was wearing this orange, tan and black plaid during the festival. It was so cute! Next weekend we are going to be in Chambersburg, PA and Kensington, MD! Fingers crossed the weather cooperates! Oh and we just released a new coupon! Use SPOOKY16 to get free shipping on all of our kits through October 31, 2016.
