Over the weekend we participated in the 17th Street Festival. The Festival brought out DC locals and tourists of all ages (including lots of 4 legged neighbors) and was a lot of fun. We sold tons of paint by number kits and our new DC design was a hit. So many people asked about the large map that we have hanging as a decoration in the booth that we're going to figure out a way to make them for sale too. Our booth neighbor this week was a lovely woman named Grace. She sells beautiful handmade cloth creations and jewelry from all over the world. You can find her unique products on her website and on Instagram (@trufacebygrace). She'll also be a vendor at the Takoma Park Street Festival - perhaps we'll be neighbors there too! After a busy day of selling paint by number kits we were hungry and ready for a good meal. There are so many restaurants along 17th street! We settled on Hank's Oyster Bar and were not disappointed. They also had great kids menu - which our young helpers enjoyed. Next weekend, we'll be in Orange Virginia for the Orange Street Festival. It looks like its going to be another fun show.
