Last weekend we were in Richmond, VA (RVA) for the Scotts Addition Pumpkin Festival. Scotts Addition is a part of the city that was mostly warehouses and random businesses when we lived in Richmond (about 7 years ago). Its now a thriving little area with all kinds of new businesses and restaurants. The festival showcased several local breweries, food trucks, and vendors (like us). It was a very windy day! I thought we might blow away and we had to modify our booth a bit. Thankfully, the wind didn't keep people from coming out. A few friends stopped by, including my favorite little Richmonder and her parents. In addition to the friendly crowds, we were surrounded by talented and friendly vendors. One of our neighbors had a very cool self-contained booth. Virginia Outfitter makes cool RVA t-shirts and gear. Check out the RV-A shirt. Love it. Not from or never been to RVA? They sell stuff for other states on their website. We are taking a break from the craft show circuit this weekend to enjoy some local Halloween Festivities with our kiddos. We finally decorated for Halloween this past week. Check out our Owl Paint By Number as part of our Halloween decor. I used a staple gun to attach the black ribbon and a suction cup hook to hang it on the mirror. Our little owl will be retired on Nov. 1, 2016 and he's now on sale for $25! We are retiring him to make room for new holiday designs - available in the shop Nov. 1!
